This page contains information about upcoming webinars as well as recordings, PowerPoint presentations, and handouts from previous programs. Pre-registration is no longer required for University of Maryland Small Ruminant Extension webinars. Participation is open to the first 100 people who log onto https://connect-test.moo.umd.edu/sschoen/. For 2014, this is a new url for University of Maryland webinars, as the Adobe Connect software has been updated.

Each year, the University of Maryland Extension Small Ruminant Program conducts a winter webinar series. University of Maryland Extension also cooperates with other universities and groups to host webinars.

Upcoming Webinars

The NSIP ReLaunch Committee will be holding a series of webinars in May and June to teach sheep and goat producers about the National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP). NSIP is a quantitative genetic selection tool designed to help sheep and goat producers make good breeding decisions. To register for one or more of the webinars, send an e-mail to pthomas@umd.edu. Registrants will receive log-in information via e-mail.

2013 Ethnic Marketing of Lamb and Mutton

In 2013, the Extension Services of the University of Maryland, the University of Maine, and Ohio State University cooperated to hold a series of webinars on the ethnic marketing of lamb and mutton.
